Portal terms of use

The rules for using the Dash ATM customer portal. Last updated 12 October 2026.

About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Dash ATM customer portal at portal.dashatm.com.au (the “portal”). The portal is run by Dash ATM Services Pty Ltd as trustee for the Dash ATM Services Trust (ABN 38 548 586 638) (“Dash”, “we” or “us”). By creating an account or using the portal you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the portal.

The portal is used by people applying to host or operate an ATM, directors and significant shareholders of those businesses, and merchants who already have a Dash ATM.

Your account and its security

  • Keep your login details private. Do not share your password, sign-in links or verification codes with anyone.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account unless you have told us promptly that someone else has gained access.
  • Tell us straight away on 1300 125 592 or at hello@dashatm.com.au if you think your account has been accessed without your permission.
  • We may suspend or limit an account if we think it is at risk or is being misused.

Accurate information

You must give us information that is true, complete and current. This includes business details, director and shareholder details, bank account details and any documents you upload. Please tell us when something changes. If information is wrong or out of date, we may delay or decline an application or action, or ask you to confirm it again.

Only enter information about another person, such as a director or shareholder, if you are authorised to do so and they know their details are being provided to us.

Identity checks

Australian law (the Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Act 2006) requires us to verify the identity of some people we deal with. We use a third-party verification partner to do this. You may be asked to photograph identity documents, take a selfie or complete a liveness check. The partner may compare your details with official records. If an identity check is not completed, we may not be able to approve or continue an ATM agreement. How we handle this information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

Electronic signing and records

You can sign agreements and other documents electronically through the portal. You agree that your electronic signature is as binding as a handwritten one, to the extent the law allows. We keep electronic copies of what you sign, the time you signed it and related portal records. You can ask us for copies. Where the law requires us to keep records for a set period, we will keep them for that period even if you close your account.

Acceptable use

When using the portal you must not:

  • break any law, or use the portal for fraud, money laundering or any other unlawful purpose
  • pretend to be another person or business, or provide false documents
  • try to get into accounts, data or systems you are not allowed to access
  • interfere with the portal, test its security without our written permission, or introduce malicious code
  • use automated tools to scrape or overload the portal
  • copy or resell the portal or its content

Availability

We aim to keep the portal available, but we do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it offline for maintenance or change features at any time. Where we can, we will give notice of planned outages. If you need urgent help with an ATM, call 1300 125 592.

Our responsibility to you

Nothing in these terms removes or limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows:

  • the portal is provided “as is”, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, from using or being unable to use the portal
  • where we are liable for a failure to supply a service, our liability is limited, at our option, to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied

Your ATM supply, surcharge and settlement arrangements are covered by your separate ATM agreement with us. If that agreement conflicts with these terms, the ATM agreement applies for those matters.

Privacy

We collect and use personal information in line with our Privacy Policy. It explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and how you can ask to see or correct it.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated. If you keep using the portal after a change, you accept the updated terms. For significant changes we will tell you through the portal or by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and Dash submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
